Furbabies are Family
Where would we be without our furbabies? The unconditional love, a sloppy wet kiss, a wagging tail (or two or three), and a cuddle. They are always happy and excited to see us when we come home - we are their world.
I’m a working mum and still get up between 5am and 6am to take my dogs for a walk each day. And yes, I’m the crazy cat woman too who takes her cat for a walk on a leash in the back yard for feline mental stimulation.
Dogs, cats and other animals have always been a part of my life. From rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and birds to fish.
They bring so much joy.
They taught my son about responsibility, and caring for others
They have taught me lessons
Been there to bring a smile to my face with a wagging tail when I walk through the door
Helped me meet other people in my community
Showed unconditional love
In return, I try to give them the best life they can have with:
And when they have reached the end and their quality of life is suffering, I have made the unselfish and heartbreaking decision to let them go over the rainbow
